​Candied Sweet Potatoes or Konfiti Patat

​Ingredients 

6 sweet potatoes

1/4 cup butter 

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup brown sugar

The Method 

1. Peel the sweet potatoes and cook them in boiling water until tender.

2. Cut them in half lengthwise

3. Melt the sugar and butter in a heavy frying pan.

4. Add the potatoes and turn until brown on both sides.

5. Add the water and the pan and cook until brown.
