​Carambola "Five Fingers" Jam

​

Ingredients 

​

2 1/2 lb carambola

2 lb sugar

3 cups water

 

​

The Method 

​

1. Trim the edges of the fruit and slice horizontally.

​

2. Place water and the fruit in a pan and boil for 15 mins.

​

3. Add sugar.

​

4. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until ready to set.

​

5. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.

​
