Cassava Biscuits

Ingredients



1 cup cassava flour
1 cup grated coconut
1 cup flour
1 large egg
½ cup shortening
½ cup sugar
½ tsp. baking powder



Method



 

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.


2. Sift the dry ingredients.


3. Cream the butter and the sugar, add the egg and the coconut gradually.


4.  Mix well to form stiff dough.


5. Roll out on a floured surface to a thickness of ½ inch.


6. Cut in shapes using a cookie cutter and place on a greased baking dish.


7. Bake until golden brown.
