Christophene Jam

Ingredients



3 christophenes
½ lb sugar
2 lemons
2 tbsp. powdered ginger



 

Method


1. Wash and peel the christophenes and cut into small cubes. 


2. Add the sugar and place in a pan and leave overnight.


3. The following day, add lemon and ginger and boil slowly until the mixture is thick and the fruit is tender.


4. Pour into jars and seal.
