Christophene Pie

Ingredients

​

3 chrisophenes
1 cup sugar
¾ cup water
a few cloves
1 large lime

Method

​
 

1. Wash and peel christophenes.


2. Cut them in slices and place in a pot with the cloves.


3. Boil until tender.


4. Remove cloves and mash the christophene.


5. Add the juice of the lime, and sugar to taste.


6. Place into a unbaked pie/ pastry shell and bake until golden brown
