​Creamy Yams

​Ingredients 

1 Yam

Salt to taste

2 tbsp. butter 

Milk as needed

The Method 

1. Wash and peel the yam and allow it to stand in cold water for 30 minutes.

2. Cook in boiling salted water until tender.

3. Drain and mash with a potato masher, add butter, salt and milk.
