Gooseberry Jam

​Ingredients

​4 cups gooseberries
4 cups sugar
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 cinnamon stick
​

The Method
1. Add all the ingredients in a pot and place on the stove top to boil.
​
2. Cook on medium heat, checking the pot to ensure that it does not boil over.
​
3. Allow the water to reduce until it forms a thick syrup. Stir continuously.
​
4. ​Place in sterile jars.

5. Enjoy.
