​Greenfig & Saltfish Broth

Ingredients

​​

 

​1 lb saltfish

1 hand of green fig

1 sprig parsley

1 sprig celery

2 cloves garlic

1 sprig chives

1 small onion chopped

2 tomatoes (chopped)

seasoning pepper

saltfish & pepper to taste

2 tbsp cooking oil

 

 



 

​Method



1. Boil saltfish in water for 15 minutes.



2. Clean by removing scales and bones and cut into small pieces.



3. Peel the green figs and place in a pot of water.



4. Add the remaining ingredients except for the oil, salt and pepper.



5. When half cooked, add oil, salt and pepper to taste.
