Jelly Trifle



Ingredients


2 cups custard
1 packet of raspberry flavoured jello
½ lb sponge cake or stale cake
Dried fruit, cherries and nuts to decorate


Method


1. Prepare the custard and allow to cool slightly.


2. Slice the cake and arrange the slices in brandy glasses or a glass dish of your choice.


3. Prepare the jello as per its directions and allow to cool.


4. Once cool pour over the cake.


5. Place in the fridge and allow to set.


6. Once set pour custard cover and chill until cold.


7. Decorate.
