Kale Pineapple Smoothie

Ingredients

 

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

3/4 cup chopped kale

1 small stalk celery, chopped

1/2 ripe banana

1/2 cup Pineapple juice

1/2 cup ice

 

Method

 

1. Wash kale and celery.

 

2. Cut the center rib and stems from the kale and chop leaves.

 

3. Place the kale, celery, banana, pineapple juice, ice and lemon juice in a blender.

 

4. Blend until smooth and frothy.

 

Makes 1 serving

this smoothie is worth a try: The orange juice and banana mask the vegetable flavors effectively, you can use a full cup.
