​Sorrel Jelly

​Ingredients
1 lb sorrel
sugar
​​

The Method
1. Wash the sorrel and place in a pot. Cover the fruit with water.
​
2. Boil until the fruits are soft.
​
3. Use a jelly bag to strain the fruit.
​
4. Measure the juice is collected, and boil it.
​
5. Once it has reached boiling point, add 3/4 cup sugar to each cup of juice.
​
6. Continue to boil rapidly until it is ready to set.
​
​
7. Place in sterile jars.
​
