Stewed Saltfish

Ingredients
1 lb. saltfish
2 sweet peppers, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 sprig of parsley and celery
1 onion sliced
1 clove garlic
½ tsp. black pepper
oil

The Method
​
1. Boil the fish in water to remove most of the salt. Remove the skin and bones; shred fish.
​
2. Saute tomatoes, onions, garlic, sweet peepers, parsley, celery, black pepper and saltfish in a pan for two to five minutes.
​
3. Add shredded saltfish.
​
4. Serve with ground provisions i.e green figs, plantain, rice or bakes.
