Sweet Potato Biscuits

Ingredients


1 cup cooked mashed sweet potato
1 cup flour
4 tsp. baking powder
¼ cup margarine
½  tsp salt
½ tsp mixed spice
milk to mix



Method



 

1. Preheat oven to 425°F.


2. Sift the dry ingredients and rub in margarine.


3. Add the potato and mix well.


4. Stir in enough milk to form stiff dough.


5. Flour a board and roll out the dough to a thickness of a ½ inch.


6. Cut into shapes using a cookie cutter and place on a greased baking dish.


7. Bake for 20 minutes.
